Nigel devoted at least 6 hours of his time to a small group of tourists who hung on his every word. His passion for the history of the city kept us going, and our questions and curiosity gave him the energy to keep going. Nigel gave my family, especially our 13 year-old son, an unforgettable insight into a haunted city. We are grateful and will always remember this day.

We were truly abuzz after our tour with Derek. His wealth of knowledge on both the history of Berlin, along with what makes Berlin great today was sensational. His accounts were extremely well delivered and I was also impressed that he openly discussed any topic asked of him. Would certainly recommend to friends and he has certainly helped us move Berlin to the top of our list of possible places to move to in Europe

Although potentially harrowing, we felt this tour to be an important personal responsibilty.
After Mike's 3RT, Pen had a tough act to follow; but as they say 'no worries', she was up to it. Somehow, an extremely ghastly episode from the tyrannical Nazi era was delivered in a balanced, compassionate manner. We were presented with a frank, but respectfully delivered catalogue of events at Sachsenhausen; which to the surprise of many covered not only the Nazi attrocities, but also the subsequent abuse by the Communists. Although a difficult topic, the tour was really well delivered in a way that presented a terrifying picture of what, under the concurrence of tyranny and a peoples given to meticulous attention to detail, man could inflict upon man.
Everyone should make this tour, lest we forget the price that can be paid when democracy is overcome by ruthless dictatorship.

Having arrived in a dreary looking Berlin on the Thursday, We began to wonder whether it had been a good location to celebrate Cathy's 50th. Fortunately, Lauren 'leather boots lover' Towers worked her magic in Friday's sunshine to regale us of the famous Berlin sights and the ubiquitous Herr Schinkel's buildings. Wow, we thought, these Insider tours are damned good; consequently, we took up Lauren's offer of tickets for the 3rd Reich Tour and the Sachsenhausen tour.
Enter Mike, the kiwi gyroscope who just kept on spinning tremendously detailed tales of the Nazis' 3rd Reich, replete with full body movement. There was no stopping Mike, even five and a half hours later - the utter professional kept coaxing us along to ensure that we were able to absorb every detail of his favourite subject. All those hours later, he looked fresh as a daisy - he just loves the subject, so much so that he married a 'subject', a madchen from the former E Berlin (just to get the full picture you understand)! Don't miss this man, he's the ultimate professional!
Shalom,
We have just returned to Israel after spending an amazing week in Berlin.
One of the highlights of our holiday was undoubtedly the tour to Dresden which we took with Insider Tours last Sunday (12th October). In particular we would like to thank our amazing guide Nadav who was an outstanding source of information and general knowledge about the subject matter as well as a very pleasant companion for the ten hour trip. We should also like to mention the driver (whose name we cannot remember) who drove the bus with expertise.
Please convey our sincere thanks and best wishes to Nadav!
We will be delighted to recommend your tours to friends.
Yours sincerely,
Ruth & Nachum Sobol
Fascinating tour. Gave a true insight into what happened. Jessica was really passionate about the subject. I really appreciated her sensitivity towards the victims. Also she tells it as it happened. Great guide. Thanks Jessica from the Karate guy's.

Francis,
We are back home from our trip, and just had a little time to drop a few lines. We truly enjoyed our walking tour, Mike was a wonderful guide. He is very knowledgeable and charming, I will come back next year with my husband to take the same tour with Mike.
Thanks,
Gabriela Ungo
