Thank you so much for your amazing tour yesterday. Mike knows so much and delivers it in such an interesting way. His passion for this period in history is very obvious as he is so enthusiastic! He was completely committed to us getting the most out of the tour, it went well over 4hours and he still helped us afterwards with our questions. It was a completely fascinating day! Thank you Mike!

I must thank and praise Brian who was my tour guide today. His knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for Berlin were EXTRAORDINARY and I had the most amazing time listening to his commentary. Brian's tour was far and away the best €10 I have ever spent - I wished the day didn't have to end. Many thanks.

Hi, This past Monday, the 28th, a group of 9 Americans took the Famous Walk tour with Brian. My wife and I brought along seven friends visiting from our old church in Ohio. The tour was a highlight for all of them. We all thought he did a great job. His passion for Berlin was contagious, something we want to 'catch'. His knowledge was also impressive, as was his consideration for the members of the tour. It was an extremely sunny, hot day, and Brian always tried to get the group into the shade whenever possible. Thanks for a great day, Brian. Sincerely, Dieter Schade

Hi We went on one of your tours with Brian Deedrech a few weeks back. We had an amazing time. We're fairly well travelled and we would say it is definitely one of the best tours that we've been on. Brian was really interesting, informative and transformed the tour into an unforgettable experience. What a great way to get to know Berlin. We'll definitely be recommending you to our friends. I would just like to say that the Insider Walk with Brian is the best guided tour i have even been on. Never have i seen such passion and enthusiasm shown for a capital and it's history. I can only recommend the tours to others who are thinking of traveling to Berlin. Best regards, The danish guy, who didn't say he was from Denmark - Jakob.

Hola! Saludos

Hi there! I must begin by saying that I am usually in the habit of writing a letter if I feel the service I have received has been lacking or people have been rude. However, on this occasion I feel it important to commend you on the service you offer to the public. I travelled to Berlin last week to scout out locations for possible secondary school tours for the next academic year. As a history teacher in Ireland teaching the senior cycle we cover a lot of second world war history. Though I have spoken about it for years I felt it was time to take advantage of my very long holidays to see for myself the setting for so much of this history. On Tuesday the 22nd of July my sister and I took the tour to Sachsenhausen. Firstly, the English lady who greeted us at the Zoo station and escorted us to meet our guide was so friendly and courteous. Our guide Derek was truly an inspiration. As you can imagine visiting a former concentration camp is a highly emotional experience and though I walked around with a perpetual lump in my throat I found Derek's tours was so balanced, honest and engaging. He embroidered personal anecdotes of those who had suffered there along with historical fact to such great effect that I did not feel the time slip by. He is of course a wealth of information and I learnt so much from him and I thought I knew a lot going in there. After the tour he talked to everyone to ensure they knew where they were going and recommended places to eat out and to drink and was open to questions too. Unfortunately my sister and I had other commitments and therefore I didn't get to rack his brain for recommendations on the best books to read on WW2. Speaking of which he should seriously consider writing the much needed book in English on Sachsenhausen itself. Anyway I just want to commend your organisation, to thank the lovely English lady and especially Derek for such a memorable tour. It was the highlight of the trip (if such a thing could be a highlight). I do hope that I will be able to share this experience with my students in the near future, to see history rather than just read about it. Many thanks Cara Ronan

Chris gave all of us a very warm welcome to what is, of course, a difficult and moving tour and a subject that he obviously cares deeply about. The explanation of life - and death - in the camp was comprehensive and brought the story home in a very real way, much more than could be done simply through reading the displays. Many thanks, Chris, for a remarkable day.

A tremendous tour covering all the important remaining sites of the Third Reich in Berlin and led by the well-informed and entertaining guide, Tom, who is well armed with historic photographs of the city and a mix of both humorous and deadly serious vignettes. I have a long interest in this period of history and found the tour very satisfying - thank you Tom!
