Hello, I just wanted to pass on my congratulations to your guide, Nigel, for an incredible tour of Berlin last Sunday. As an historian myself, I found his dialogue informative and entertaining. His obvious passion for the subject helped to bring alive what could have so easily been a dull march around so much concrete and barbed wire. I learnt more in those 4 hours than I did in 4 years of history lessons at school, and has wetted my appetite so a return visit to the city is a must. Could you please pass on my sentiments and my e-mail address to Nigel. Very best wishes, Peter Grist Southampton, England

We just want to say thank you to Alex for his explanations and comments in Sachsenhauen and Famous Insider Walk. Berlin is a new city for us due to his incredible knowledge.

On our first visit to Berlin in April we took a rather disappointing bus tour, so the following day did the 'Famous Walk' led by Mike. The ten fold increase in enthusiasm was great.
We returned to Berlin last week and were delighted to find Mke leading the 'Third Reich Berlin' tour too. Once again, very knowledgeable and full of tips on when and where to go next - thanks for booking my birthday breakfast at the Bundestag for me!
We had such a blast with our tour guide Jessica! She has a great sense of humor and really keeps you engaged as she brings the stories of the 2nd WW and cold war to life! Stop in beergarden a HUGE plus : ) EVERYONE should do this tour, it's the BEST way to see Berlin. Thank you Jessica from your US fanclub

What a guy!!! When we arrived in Berlin, it was just another European city, but after having the tour guide of the century it became the most charismatic city in the world! Brian gave us the opportunity to experience Berlin to its full potential! The city has energy and vibrancy, and we got to see it all. From the Reichstag to the emotional fall of the wall, we were on tenterhooks throughout. The tour lasted through to dinner and drinks afterwards and we just wanted to thank Brian so much for making this trip so fantastic. GO ON THIS TRIP - THEN GO FOR FOOD AND DRINKS AFTER!!!!
Thanks Brian - you are always welcome in Beautiful Belfast

What a tour Brian, we are still talking about it, It started off being a four hour tour and much to our excitement we got a lot more. Brian has to be the best city tour guide we have ever had the pleasure of meeting both a pure gentleman and his knowledge of history and the people of Berlin was "OUTSTANDING". Thanks again and we have recommended him to all our family and friends, Brian & Catherne (IRELAND)......

Brian, We only wish we'd done the tour sooner. I'm always cynical about reviews like this but it really was top banana. If you ever want to come to the Timperley Opera House...The chicken was fantastic in the place with no name by the way Dave. Brian, you are amazing. I feel so lucky to have met you. Jackie.

What an incredible experience this turned out to be. I have to say I was amazed by the passion and enthusiasm of Brian our guide, and the way he brought the events and places on the route to life.
This isn't your typical see the monument, tick the box kind of tour...its the human angle that he expresses, what the events that happened right where you are standing must have been like for the people who lived through them, that really helps you connect on a deeply emotional level with a rich history that helped define the 20th century.
We were expecting a 4 hour tour, but such was his desire to help us see the city through his eyes, and the eyes of the people that lived there that it ended up being closer to 7...but I would easily have gone on for another 7 without feeling tired!
A real must for anyone, whatever age or whatever level of interest in history to see. Thoroughly recommended.

Our decision to look at Berlin with Insider Tours had been a brilliant one. There was not one minute were we experienced a feeling of exhaustion or boredom. It was quite an electrifying walk and the best history lesson for a long time. Thank you, Brian, for a great day and passing your enthusiasm on to us.
